135mm f2.8 Prime Lens (Experiment)

Here’s Brindle chilling out for the camera. Once again I used the istDL but with the 135mm f2.8 prime set at f4 this time. It appears that the simplest way to use these manual prime lenses on the Pentax DSLR’s (so far anyway) is to shoot aperture priority (Av mode) and let the camera select the shutter speed and ISO. In this case it selected 1/80 and ISO 400.

The greatest challenge for me is focusing. Next I will try the 28mm wide angle. Focusing should be easier with that one.
