Here we have another shot of Gandalf
skulking around on the porch and becoming one with the sundial. This was taken
with the Pentax istDL using the 50mm f1.7 prime set at f2.8. The istDL selected
a shutter speed of 1/90 and an ISO of 400 and the focusing assist for the
manual lens appears to be right on this time.
I also want to try working with the 28mm & 135
mm primes. These great old lenses seem to work just s well with the new digital
cameras as they do with the old 35mm film cameras. You just have to keep in
mind the 1.5 crop factor and do the focusing yourself.
