Louisiana Wildlife

There’s a pond in front of the Community College my son attends. While waiting for him I spied an egret and seven turtles all sunning themselves on a log. The shot above was taken with the Pentax K-01 through a Promaster 28-80 zoom nearly all the way out at 73mm exposed at sf7.1, 1/250, and ISO@100.

My picture taking ran a few of the turtles off but we soon gained a small alligator (off to the right) which more than made up for the missing turtles.
